NBA: Clippers bounce back versus Dallas

Do not rule out the Los Angeles Clippers just yet. Despite being down 2-0 and losing both of their home games, the Clippers bounced back. Paul George had 29 points and Kawhi Leonard 36. This performance from the dynamic duo led to the Clippers regaining some form after their slow start at home.

Dallas takes the series up 2-1 for Game 4 on Sunday, which will be crucial for the Clippers if they want to have any chance at winning the series.

If Paul George and Kawhi manage to maintain the same level of efficiency then they surely have a chance at upsetting the Mavericks. The dynamic duo had made 24 out of their 35 shot attempts.

On the other side, Luka Doncic had an explosive home debut. He fired up the home crowd with his career playoff-high 44 points. He was very efficient at the beginning of the game and made his first shots. This led to an early 30-11 lead for Dallas. However, before the first quarter ended Clippers had a 14-0 scoring run as they caught up to the Mavericks.

Despite Doncic’s explosive performance and effort, his supporting cast was not much of a help for him. His teammate, Kristaps Porzingis was nowhere to be seen this game;

In a post-game interview, he said: “I had great looks and I just missed the shots. Frustrated a little bit with the shots not going in. Then again, I can’t really let that affect the rest of my game.”
