Canelo vs Saunders: Preview, Predictions, Undercard

Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders finally face off in a huge super middleweight title unification fight.

Saunders, the controversial two-weight champion aims to defeat superstar Canelo Alvarez in what he believes will be one of the biggest boxing upsets in the past 20 years.

Earlier this week, Billy Joe Saunders threatened to call off the fight because he was unhappy with the size of the ring.

After this, he didn’t turn up to the first planned head-to-head with Canelo with the huge world super middleweight title unification fight looking unlikely to go ahead.

Later on, Canelo stated that the ring was not a problem and he fight will go ahead.

The Mexican boxer stated: “I don’t care about the size of the ring. I’m just going to going there and do my job. It’s not the only excuse he’s had. He’s had plenty of excuses”.

Four weight world champion Canelo aims to add Saunders’ WBO belt to his WBA, WBC and The Ring titles.

Billy Joe Saunders will become the seventh British fighter to try and take down Canelo. Liam Smith, Amir Khan, Ryan Rhodes, Matthew Hatton and Rocky Fielding are the other Britons that have failed to defeat the explosive Canelo Alvarez.
