Youtuber Jake Paul’s fight against UFC champion Tyron Woodley Confirmed

After Weeks of speculation, an agreement has been made which will see the 24-year-old YouTube star Jake  Paul go up against former Welterweight UFC champion Tyron “The Chosen One” Woodley, in his fourth professional boxing bout.

Jake Paul will come into this fight unbeaten with his last three matches coming by way of knockout. However critics have argued that his competition has not given Paul the challenge he needs in order to prove himself. The outspoken social influencer began his professional boxing career with a win over fellow YouTube star AnEsonGib, before going onto beat ex-NBA player Nate Robinson and following that up with a one punch knockout in the first round against retired UFC fighter Ben Askren which reportedly broke 1.5million pay-per-view buys, making it the 10th biggest boxing event of all time. Jake Paul will be hoping he can silence his critics and keep his 100% win record against his toughest challenge yet.

As for Woodley, who was a cornerman for his ex teammate Ben Askren in Paul’s last fight, comes into this fight showing great interest after the conclusion of his most recent UFC contract. He left the UFC after being seen as one of the best Welterweight champions the sport has seen. Having beaten the likes of Robbie Lawler and Stephen Thompson. Woodley will see this bout as a chance to prove to his doubters who will have seen his last four UFC fights end in defeat.

The fight is believed to be made official later this week, and with Jake’s older brother Logan Paul set to fight Floyd Mayweather in Miami this coming weekend, the brothers from Ohio could be grabbing the headlines in the world of boxing for months to come.
