New Zealand on top to England cricket test

New Zealand managed to settle today with a 375 score once Latham managed a 105, Daryl Mitchell’s 73 and Watling scoring 55, while Stuart Broad took 4-73.

England lost two wickets late on in the day, meaning New Zealand were on top at Hamilton in the second test.

Joe Denly and Dom Sibley both made four as England reached 39-2, trailing by 336, in the 18 overs possible before the close.

New Zealand lead to England 1-0 in the two test series.

In his second test, Sibley was struck on the helmet form a bouncer by Tim Southee, later being taken by an LBW across the line.

Joe Denly was eliminated by Matt Hendry after a good bowl, with the wicketkeeper taking a good catch whilst diving to his right.

Joe Root is still in the game with Rory Burns dropping at 10 and 19, play will start half an hour early at 21:30 GMT for the remainder of the Test, to make up for time lost to rain on Friday.
