Norwegian international on his way to Germany

Borussia Dortmund have managed to sign one of footballs most highly anticipated players. Erling Haaland has been one of footballs most exciting youngsters who has exploded onto the scene this season for Red Bull Salzburg at just 19.

Haaland joined Red Bull Salzburg from Norwegian side Molde FC in January 2019 for approximately £4.5m. Since being with the Austrian side Haaland has impressed the biggest teams in Europe.

Haaland has scored 28 goals in all competitions in the 2019/20 season, making 22 appearances in total. Erling also impressed on the biggest stage scoring an impressive 8 goals in his 6 Champions League appearances this season. He scored in 5 consecutive Champions League matches which included goals against Liverpool and Napoli.

Borussia Dortmund, who currently sit 4th in the Bundesliga, triggered Haaland’s buyout clause which is approximately £17.1m (20 million euros.)

The deal see’s Haaland join the German side until 2024.

Haaland will join the ranks of another young prodigy Jadon Sancho who is also currently one of the hottest talents in football.
